Just finished attaching the latest paddle adapter from Vermont Waterways (Oct 2010) to my Model E Concept 2 Rower. Taking a few strokes to demonstrate the line of motion, changeovers, technique/speed possible, and, of course, the amount of noise it makes! Feels pretty close to the real thing. Catch feels smooth and although I was expecting the recovery to be an issue with the recoil of the fan, it's not really an issue at all. The biofeedback from the PM4 monitor helps a lot as well, as it gives me the instantaneous stroke rate along with the power output throughout the stroke. This will be particularly helpful in maximizing power output at the sweet spot in the stroke.
